We all know that testing evidence is essential to advancing our understanding of #behaviorchange and the #decisionmaking process. However, this process is often easier said than done. One of the biggest challenges #researchers face is selecting and using reliable and valid #measures. Choosing the wrong measures or poorly constructed ones can affect the accuracy of your results and the validity of your conclusions from a #researchproject. @SOBC_RCC is making it easier to design projects or studies that incorporate #behavioralscience with an all-in-one measures repository. Led most recently by @edmondson_don, @pforscher, @birk_jeff, @c_talea, and @russpoldrack, this one-stop-measures repository contains hundreds of assessment tools, along with information about their reliability and validity, all of which have been vetted by experts in the field. @Jawsy_P Wow, I said something almost identical to this observation two days ago while talking a walk with @stevedemaio. We’re now in the *very* late aughts, I think, in 2021. The Acceleratingly Anxious Aughts? Yikes, this neverending decade could use some rebranding.

The 60s, 70s, and 80s, and even the 90s, all seemed to have distinct personalities and vibes. Everything 2000 onwards just seems like a slowly accelerating ball of anxiety.
