@Jordan_S90 Charlie would not call out friends on the public stage. Even if those friends and him had differences. He had class. He gave people grace they didn't deserve. The only reason he was going to possible have Candace talk was to get back at the donors. Not because he wanted her to.

When Candace Owens’s cultists insist that Charlie Kirk liked or loved Candace Owens as a close friend, they’re being purposefully obtuse. Was Charlie Kirk a little two-faced? Was he a bit phony? Was he a bit of a people pleaser? Yes to all three. However, I’m not condemning him or judging him for it. He was in a very precarious position. He was one of the cornerstones of the Republican Party and had to balance many different personalities. As far as Candace goes, it’s very obvious that Charlie knew she had every text message and communication they had ever shared. He also knew she was a vicious and spiteful person who would make it her life’s mission to destroy him if he ever denounced or condemned her. Being fully aware of this, he tried to stay above the fray and play both sides. I don’t agree with that strategy, but I understand why he did it. This is why he was always kind in his private communications with Candace and when he spoke about her publicly. But it also explains why he had NOTHING to do with her during the most important moments of his life. He deliberately kept her at arm’s length because he knew she was trouble. The problem with Candace Owens’s cultists is that they can’t discern nuance. They don’t live in the real world with real human beings who have complex, dynamic personalities. They are stuck in lockstep groupthink. They want to believe something so badly that they ignore all the evidence to the contrary. That’s exactly what it means to be in a cult.
