The Bureau is committed to safeguarding sensitive American technologies and deterring wrongdoers. When companies export their products around the world, they must follow the law or face stiff penalties.

The settlement includes an approximately $252 million penalty, multiple audits of the company's export compliance program, and annual certifications to BIS in connection to those audits.
