In the metadata you will notice a reference tag, some bit_bots also have a payload tag. This references data onchain. bit_bots onchain protocol and all art is generated by @pixel_pool. The whole project in-fact. It was a lot of work and a heavy time investment. We are exploring smart contracts now. 🧪 godspeed

@mini1pool The original set is always verifiable as the bit_bots policy id in which your nft resides was the first to mint that asset 😊 Further more it probably the first nft with the version 2 tag embedded 😎

@mini1pool It allows you to recreate a bit_bot from fully on chain data. It proves that bots don't need ipfs. Simply type in a bot and you can see where it gets it data from. I added a copy button so the more technical could even recreate the ipfs hash🙂

@mini1pool That’s how all #nfts work. You basically buy and sell the ‘receipt’ which acts as proof of ownership. The good news is bit_bots keeps all the data in the ‘receipt’. Unlike other projects in which you own whatever is resolved at the url (ipfs is okay, not great tho) 🙈
