Es beschämt, als Deutscher den Kanzler neben einem Donald Trump sitzen zu sehen, der dummes, lächerliches Zeug redet und dabei auch noch würdige europäische Partner Deutschlands wie Spanien beleidigt. Friedrich Merz macht gute Miene, oder meint, gute Miene dazu machen zu müssen. Und wenn der Bundeskanzler den Mund aufmacht, um den Krieg Israels und der USA gegen den Iran mit Worten wie „dass dieses schreckliche Regime in Teheran beseitigt werden muss“ beschönigt und rechtfertigt, dann möchte man noch mehr vor Scham im Boden versinken. Die Welt war „früher“ bestimmt nicht „besser“. Aber man machte sich nicht so erbärmlich zum Kasper, während man blutiges Unrecht abnickte.

He previously said Germany "shares the relief of many Iranians that this mullah regime is now coming to an end" and shares the U.S. interest in stopping its nuclear program. —— ⭕️ Background: During the briefing, Merz chuckled as the level of destruction in Iran was discussed. On concerns over the legality of the strikes, he has previously said he would not “lecture” the U.S. or Israel on their military actions. Trump thanked him today for Germany’s support in the campaign. In a joint E3 statement, Germany, the UK, and France pledged “necessary and proportionate defensive action” to destroy Iran’s missile and drone capabilities “at their source.” Germany has also responded positively to a request to deploy a warship to Cyprus following Iranian drone attacks on a British base there.
