@iGetAlgo @AlgoFoundation We're talking about different things. Most important thing to me right now is to ensure node network is self-sustaining from protocol revenue to strengthen decentralization. We're far off, but ORA contributes to that goal greatly. For business revenue, make a good business. 🤷

Kind of wild that ORA is the number 1 revenue generator of all time for Algorand and @AlgoFoundation doesn't do much to promote it like Solana doing here for ORE. 🤷

@bitshiftmod @algoboii @AlgoFoundation Makes sense— If the person didn’t relay this to the Ora community, then I don’t believe the community would be aware of it. That’s why I’m letting you know a bit of a backstory on it. The AF sees and hears Ora!

@AlgoFamily @algoboii @AlgoFoundation I don't know a single person in the ORA community who's heard of AF considering this. Nonsense about having to use terminals, main liquidity miner page doesn't require much resources at all (juicing tx's all done by liquidators behind the scenes).

The @AlgoFoundation not only wanted to promote ORA, but also send them new users via an AlgoLand quest. It was revealed to us that the website wasn’t able to handle the load of traffic, and the only possibility to mine Ora would be to have users use terminals, GitHub, compilers, and shell scripting. As you can imagine, that wouldn’t have been the best experience for retail users who aren’t developers, so we scrapped the Ora quest. Ora is definitely an interesting project! I’m curious if anyone will eventually build a new interface to mine Ora, write resources to explain the process better, or even integrate with other ecosystems dapps. Lots of potential! 🍊 🍊 🍊 🍊 As a decentralized project, it’s up to all of us, not just the AF to promote it. Cheers.

@algoboii @AlgoFoundation I don't know about that, but feels to me they missed a big opportunity to generate more revenue for the ecosystem in a decentralized way by promoting ORA more during the first and second halvings.
