@bitterman019 Certain aspects may have changed/lost their way over time, but at the end of the day the majority of the athletes that compete have been on crazy journeys of sacrifice and are a massive inspiration to the next generation! Nothing made you happier as a kid than watching the games

@timrosen35 Exactly. I sound like a crazy person trying to put into words how excited we were in 2000. I didn’t even get to go, but I vividly remember the torch coming to Wagga and feeling part of something bigger than that small world of mine. I only hope our kids catch that bug.
