The ARTEMIS II jet orbited above Georgia today, likely focusing its sensors south to Armenia and/or possibly northern Iran. A rare flight, as the contractor-owned and operated SIGINT bizjet flying for the U.S. Army usually orbits above Eastern Europe and off the coast of Libya.

I received some stunning photos of the U.S. Army’s AISR primary HADES testbed N488CR at Hamilton Municipal Airport from a follower of mine. Visible is a brand new dorsal hump and additional antennas under the belly.

SNC’s RAPCON-X will likely deploy to the southern Indo-Pacific to support L3/MAG’s ATHENA platform which has taken over mission duties for the now-retired RC-12X It’s also possible it deploys to Europe to support ARTEMIS I/II but SIP seems more likely.
