@Johnny_LEAD @jeff_gluck Yup. Additionally, 2026 is quickly solidifying my humble opinion that competition in NCTS is better than OReilly. Since Sanchez and Hocevar left, consistently cleaner and St. Pete's showed that again. Daytona, I believe the 88 gave props to the field for that.

@bjbstr21 @jeff_gluck There’s an argument out there that the trucks drive more like the Cup cars anyway. Jumping from trucks to Cup isn’t uncommon now like Heim and Hocevar are doing.

@Johnny_LEAD @jeff_gluck I think you're right though. I forgot the 4 is FRM. They actually have a pipeline of sorts. It sucks that the Ford-Roush route of yesteryear has dissolved... and it was literally under the 88's feet when it did. I'd take Riggs over Zane, too, just for new blood at this point.

Milk Bowl was conceived by Ken Squier and consists of three 50 lap segments, with the running order inverted between segments. The driver with the best average finish is declared the winner. It creates incredibly compelling racing. I still want that as a All Star Race someday.

Listen, it's a little convoluted but I actually really like this. I've long advocated for the Vermont Milk Bowl format but acknowledged NASCAR fans wouldn't accept the winner not being the driver who crossed the line first. This is the Milk Bowl then a straight-up race. I'm intrigued.

@EricEstepp17 @EricEstepp17 , question: Does NASCAR not use the courtesy/move over flag at superspeedways? I recall JHN laps down pushing a teammate in NCTS for the win. The 77, 3 laps down, racing the leaders at Daytona and nearly taking out the field reminded me. And how is that not a fine?

Carson Hocevar today: - flat tire while running top 5 - races the leaders to stay 1 lap down - window blows out, 2 laps down - gets two free passses - earns stage points in stage two - contact with Logano - pits for tires late - throwing haymakers at the leaders
