Super Thanksgiving is climbing up in the "Popular Horror" games section over on itchio and it's right next to one of my favorite devs in the space. Someone who has inspired me greatly over the years.
This has been my best-performing game on itch so far. Thank you everyone 🙏
@JasozzGames I mean realistically I was prepared to pay like $10 for this so maybe I'll just buy 5 copies and gift them to friends to guilt them into playing spooky games with me
@JasozzGames Yo and for only a dollar fifty, two bucks max? You're too good to us. Let me snag two copies real quick and make my wife play with me this weekend lmao
It's time! Bonerooms is now available! 💀
Gather your friends. Eat dots. Buy items. Don't get boned!
I want to sincerely thank my awesome testers - without them, I would never have been able to pull this game together in just a couple of months!
I'm trying to get over my "I have to do everything" phase and start using a few simple cc0 things like OpenClipArt. But I still save a clipart and go "Okay, now I at least need to put this in photoshop, put a layer over top, repaint it in my own style," etc.
I'll get there.
@PATALOON I work on unreal cuz heh heh fun knee nodes
Anyways my project life is a mess and I have like two dozen started projects where I get to a point I don't know how to do something on the scale I want so I shelf it for two to four years and come back after I've learned more.
I have two types of Indie Dev Friends:
Godot ones. (they seem to be really efficient and fast at making stuff, always joyful about the future)
Unity ones. (they struggle with the tech and always seem super depressed about the future)
I have no explanation for this.
@WaveRace64 There was something really fun about renting an N64 game and seeing somebody else's save file where they have all the hearts and named their Link "BUTT ASS BALLS" or something
🩸THE FEAR BUSINESS OUT NOW🩸
Dust off your camcorder and meet the deadly Goat Face in this thrilling third person survival horror inspired by found footage movies and the 80s satanic panic.
⭕️Retro graphics
⭕️As you save game, it turns darker
⭕️Puzzles
⭕️Multilanguage
Working on a multiplayer horror game with @BinaryGleam, where you and your friends rob a cursed boardgame.
Think Jumanji meets Hellraiser…

@EdMechGames@CodeRed_dev Meh, maybe it's just cuz I don't ever make very complex models but I typically don't have issues with it as part of my pipeline. Plus I learned like one version of Blender 2.7 years and years ago and never bothered to change or upgrade lol
@CodeRed_dev In my experience .blend files don't work for almost anything but blender. I am honestly shocked people still use blender at all. Its great for modeling and rigging but if you have to export your model to another program it normally has some pretty big problems
Went back home for a wedding this weekend so I haven't gotten a lot of work done this past week. But rest assured spooky things hide behind that door right there.
Those Hellhouse and VHS movies I kinda just got stuck in that "Well, the sequel is up next and I don't feel like searching for a new movie right this second" loop, but honestly none of them were god awful.
For better or for worse, here's a quick list of Horror Movies I've watched so far this season for anyone looking for stuff! Please note that these are just films I've watched, typically in the background while I work, and not necessarily movies I would recommend lmao.
