@MelanieEmmajade Most reviewers don’t know about “your paper your way” and are trying to be helpful. Editors should probably add it to the review request template. I will suggest this for the Elsevier journal I’m involved with. Some editors seem unaware, too.

Why is it that when you submit to journals using their latex style files, or using the "Your Paper Your Way" option - that you still get comments on tiny aspects of formatting? The first sets the formatting and the second isn't meant to care.

Another great talk from Kevin Flynn… we need to think harder about the “traits” in our models. Which are real traits that can evolve, which are meta-traits, and which emerge from others? #AMEMR21 Suggests that max growth rate is not a trade-off but optimised by evolution.

Suzana Leles is putting Per Hansen’s findings re mixotrophy into modelling practice in ERSEM. Very interesting to see the functional implications starting to emerge! #AMEMR21

Lots to think about in Ralf Steuer’s #AMEMR21 talk. Some of the traditional functional responses such as nutrient limitation curves are emergent properties of bioenergetic resource allocation and can be predicted using resource allocation models.
