@BasedMikeLee May we remind you, the U.S. Congress is a co-equal branch of government. That’s a big deal. Act like it.

My friend—the one who’s kind of a big deal—agrees that it’s time to NUKE THE FILIBUSTER

Mike Lee@BasedMikeLee
This isn’t working It’s time to nuke the filibuster And pass the SAVE AMERICA Act

Kathy Hochul claimed New York followed the rules when issuing licenses to foreign truck drivers…
WRONG ❌
Here’s the truth: New York gave licenses to foreigners valid years beyond their work authorizations!
That’s why today @USDOT is pulling $73 million from Hochul’s New York. American families deserve to be SAFE on the road @WillCainShow

@ScottJenningsKY People that make sweeping statements about a large group of US citizens are arrogant and lack wisdom. Scott must really hate our country.

This is not just the correct response but politically smart. Love him or despise him, Trump, in his instinctual way, has a habit of exposing hypocrisy and trite religious sloganeering for what it is.
In the face of the kind of brutality the IRCG represents, rhetoric about unity and peace is obviously empty.

A pretty amazing response from President Trump to this reporter question: REPORTER: Iran is going to execute four more protesters, including the first woman protester. What do you tell Iran? TRUMP: Tell that to the Pope.

Woe to those who manipulate religion and the very name of God for their own military, economic, and political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth. #ApostolicJourney #Cameroon vatican.va/content/leo-xi…

@RepBoebert I don’t think any paid politician should live off of taxpayers after they leave office. Go get a financial advisor like the rest of us.
English

@megbasham It’s a completely inappropriate and cynical response. He just needs to do his job. Trump will never rise to the level of the Pope. POTUS respects no one.

I look forward to speaking with @SeanHannity tonight on @FoxNews during his 9:00 p.m. ET show. I hope you will watch!

@BasedMikeLee No. My state already requires voter ID. The Federal Government doesn’t need my data. Stay out of States’ affairs.

Declassified Testimony Shows Dems’ First Impeachment of Trump Was Totally Bogus

I am a proud co-sponsor of the SAVE Act. Showing your ID to vote should be the minimum requirement. @clayandbuck

@Franklin_Graham @realDonaldTrump Then you’re part of a small minority, one who would compromise one’s faith supporting a mad man at all costs.

@Franklin_Graham @realDonaldTrump That is not the initial reaction of most. Evangelicals will give him a pass for anything. I for one, choose to serve Jesus, not Donald. It was #blasphemy.

@SenKatieBritt @SenJohnKennedy Congress should be part time. And there should be term limits. No more career politicians!
English

TSA officers should not be going without their paychecks while Congress is getting theirs.
In fact, due to Democrats’ two recent shutdowns, TSA officers have missed paychecks for almost 50% of the fiscal year—that’s unacceptable. We need to pass @SenJohnKennedy’s No Shutdown Paychecks to Politicians Act.
English

@chiproytx @SenateGOP Sometimes doing the right thing isn’t partisan, Chip. This is about serving the American people, not POTUS.
English

Why would @SenateGOP throw Democrats a political lifeline now… to fund TSA that doesn’t fund ICE & CBP - and in process likely get off of SAVE America Act to go home for Easter recess…???
English

@SenatorCollins @SenateGOP I thought you’d be opposed to the lawless murder of US citizens in MN, Senator. Disappointed you choose partisan speak. You know very well you could have supported funding for TSA weeks ago. For heavens sake, the GOP controls Congress. Republicans failed, again.

Passage of the Department of Homeland Security funding package brings us closer to ending the reckless and harmful shutdown of DHS that Democrats triggered when they walked away from the bipartisan funding bill for the Department. That original bill contained new safeguards and oversight to protect the American public and our law enforcement, including additional funding for body-worn cameras and deescalation training.
Over the past five weeks, Republicans have made repeated attempts to reach bipartisan consensus to reopen the Department. Republicans offered proposals to expand the use of body-worn cameras; limit civil immigration enforcement in sensitive areas such as schools and hospitals; increase oversight of detention facilities; and implement visible officer identification.
While Republicans worked in good faith to try to reach agreement, Democrats remained intransigent and unreasonable with their list of demands.
Congressional Democrats have done real damage to the appropriations process by repeatedly forcing government shutdowns and refusing to fund entire agencies. Their refusal to fund ICE and Border Patrol leaves our borders and our country less secure and sets a precedent that they may one day come to regret.
Today’s action moves us closer to ending the disastrous shutdown at the Department, which has caused chaos at our airports, made us more vulnerable to cyber and terrorist attacks, delayed disaster response to communities in need, and caused thousands of hardworking federal employees to report to work with no guarantee of when they will be paid. Moving forward, I remain committed to ensuring adequate funding to secure our borders.
