@blackarmzed If you’ve been following, I began this series on naming African slaveholders with the Nyaho Tamakloes. I painstakingly created an entire video documenting their complicity—but clearly, you’ve turned a blind eye. x.com/KZankeli/statu…

1. Reparations Begin at Home. Ghana’s Special Envoy for Reparations, Ekwow Spio-Garbrah @DrESpioGh, is on a global mission: demanding justice for Africa’s enslavement by Europeans. But here’s the question we keep dodging: 2. What about us? What about the merchants, middlemen, power brokers and coastal elites who sold their own skin-and-kinfolk and whose descendants today sit wrapped in prestige, influence, and inherited cultural capital? 3. Reparations is a necessary conversation. But accountability must be an honest one. This is the beginning of a series. A series on families. Personalities. Quiet dynasties. Wealth that did not fall from heaven, but flowed from ships. 4. Today, we begin in Anlo. With the Nyaho Tamakloes. History is not an accusation but a reckoning. Watch. Reflect. Then decide for yourself. youtube.com/watch?v=reT3Uk…

Osei Tutu I & Okomfo Anokye: A Record of Slave Ownership 1. Contrary to what ethnic apologists claim, slavery in Asante was more foundational than incidental. 2. From its earliest formation as a nation built largely “because of war”[Asa nti], the Asante state integrated war-fed slavery into its political and social order. 3. This position is asserted and well documented by the Asante historian Emerita Prof. Akosua Adoma Perbi, who, through the goodwill of her father, the revered ethnomusicologist Emeritus Prof. J. H. Kwabena Nketia, gained rare access to Nana Opoku Ware II and his royal historians at Manhyia. 4. The story is told that when Asantehene Osei Tutu rewarded Okomfo Anokye, it was not in gold alone, but in people: 300 slaves and 100 pereguans (~£800 at the time). 5. And when Kumawuhene Okyere Bofuo gave Okomfo Anokye 100 slaves and 200 pereguans (~£1600 at the time). These were not symbolic gestures. 6. They reveal a system in which human beings were currency, reward, and wealth. 7. Such gifts would have been unthinkable without a deeply embedded slave economy. 8. Over time, slavery became institutional, structuring governance, hierarchy, and accumulation. 9. For three centuries, Asante emerged as the largest slave-trading, slave-owning, and slave-dealing state in the region. 10. The state did not merely practice slavery; it depended on it. 11. So much so that the smooth running of Asante society was inextricably bound to slave labour and trade. Narratives of slaveholding & trading across other Ghanaian polities & ethnicities will follow in due time.

A woman jumped on stage during a live concert and kissed the singer, calling it “excitement” and a “momentary lapse.” When the video reached her husband of 10 years, he chose divorce — a decision that instantly triggered outrage online. Instead of holding her accountable, much of the discourse rushed to justify the act, downplay public humiliation, and label the husband as “insecure.” If a man had done the same on stage, the verdict would have been instant: cheater, disrespectful, divorce justified. This incident exposes a recurring pattern — women’s public boundary violations are romanticised as mistakes, while men are denied the right to dignity and consequences. Marriage is not suspended for clout, concerts, or fleeting attention. Accountability cannot be gender-selective. A few seconds of applause cost a decade-long marriage — and calling that out isn’t cruelty, it’s honesty. source : @millionairechapter #Divorce #ViralMoment #marriage #singer #viral #viralnews #Aventuraconcert

KOJO OPPONG NKRUMAH IS A TRUTHFUL LIAR, PLAIN DISHONEST, AND A CHEERLEADER OF FAKE NEWS. If you listen to the attached video, at 0:00:11 secs, Oppong Nkrukah clearly and boldly stated that Hon Eric Opoku said PMMC had recorded $460M. The host's producer drew his attention to it as false, and as the video was about to be played, Kojo asked the host if he had seen the story on Citi FM (which cooked that fake story attributed to Hon. Eric Opoku). Thankfully, the video was played, and it was plain and clear that at no microsecond did Hon Eric Opoku say PMMC recorded a loss of $460M, as Kojo Oppong Nkrumah emphatically stated. After the video was played, Kojo now realized that he messed up so he quickly switched from “Eric Opoku said, PMMC had recorded a loss of $460M” to Eric Opoku said, we recorded a loss of $460M”. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah later claimed there was no loss citing Nana Akwasi Awuah’s post which he also referenced Citi FM’s fake story attributed to Hon Eric Opoku. Kojo then said, Awuah will give details of PMMC’s profit, etc. Now the question is, is Kojo Oppong Nkrumah now saying the G4O loss of $460M can not be a loss of PMMC because according to SIGA, PMMC recorded a profit. So why is Kojo Oppong Nkrumah now pushing that GOLDBOD has recorded a loss of $214M when he knows GOLDBOD has recorded Ghs 960M surplus? Is Kojo Oppong Nkrumah not a dishonest guy? The facts are; Hon Eric Opoku never said PMMC recorded $460M so the Citi FM story is fake. Bank of Ghana’s losses/costs can not be given to GOLDBOD/PMMC. GOLDBOD recorded no losses. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah is a liar!!! Ignore him!!! Annan Perry

There is something about Sammy Gyamfi that needs to be studied. He subjects every issue that comes up to a proper rational thought. He's proven that he is a Harvard scholar. NPP communicators should learn from him and not hate him!

He is trying to sidestep the issue at hand, and pretend that he doesn’t understand the reason it seems like a surplus on the side of GoldBOD. What is occurring is central bank financing. The central bank (BoG) is absorbing the trading losses onto its balance sheet. That implies as @CallmeAlfredo has noted, that the current GoldBOD model is not sustainable because if it were capitalised by government in the normal manner (and not continued central bank financing) it would have burned through its seed capital already. They need to stop paying the premium, and find other means to prevent smuggling.
CHARLOTTE NICOLE 🕊@charllycolegh

Wow Sammy Gyamfi is telling IMF, they’re either sleeping or hallucinating for telling him, he’s making losses with GOLDBOD and said GOLDBOD hasn’t made any profit but surpluses? What does it mean? Didn’t they say they’ve made some $10 billion profit? 🤔 #Newsfile
