Resources are currently responding to the 25-acre Flat Fire, located north of the San Francisco Peaks roughly 4.5 miles west of Highway 89. Resources include a water tender, seven engines, two hand crews and air attack. The fire is moving at a moderate rate of spread through pinyon-juniper and grass and there are no structures threatened at this time. The cause is under investigation.
