Guys. Think logically. Why the hell would you sign a contract early when you know you will have much more leverage in just a couple weeks? Byington would have to have a deep emotional connection to vandy or the worst agent in the world if he signed an extension before April.

Context here: Mark Byington has had an extension on his desk since before the NCAA Tournament. He hasn't signed it yet. This tweet is the Vandy administration's way of pre-emptively telling their fans: If he somehow ends up at UNC, we did everything we could to keep him.
