@nextlevelbb Michael Byrne is the all time saves leader at UF. Wouldn’t have won a Natty without him. He threw a 90 mph cut fastball and an above avg slider but knew exactly where it was going nearly every pitch.

Amazing watching the lack of command in college baseball.
Kids used to go to pitching coaches.
Now they go to velocity coaches and forget to learn to actually pitch.
Velocity dudes with below average command and pitchability get coaches fired.

When she goes to events, you demand she stays home. When she stays home, you question her motives. Whether she laughs, cries, or shows anger, it’s always too much or not enough. Erika’s not only ruthlessly condemned, she’s relentlessly mocked as if she’s not a real person navigating massive loss.
Yes, she’s a public figure, and as such she will receive critiques and questions. But if you can’t do that without hostility, without dehumanizing her, you’ve got a soul-level sickness that needs to be addressed.

The ball should always go somewhere. Throw to first, throw to a shortened 1st, flip to second, throw to second, throw home. Do something with the ball.
Too many flat footed ground balls that get dropped in a bucket.

Take ground balls with a stop watch.
Have someone time you.
Get in the habit of getting it to 1st in under 4.2 seconds.
Great infielders have great internal clocks.
Great infielders have great moxie.
Great infielders have great feel.
Great infielders have great instincts.
Great infielders always know how much time they have and rarely look rushed.
This is one of the most impactful drills for developing as an infielder.

A kidnapping call takes a horrific turn in seconds.
Authorities say suspect Noemi Guzman stole a knife from Walmart before trying to kidnap a toddler by forcing the child and his guardian into the store parking lot.
Omaha police arrived on the scene and were forced to fatally shoot the suspect after she refused to drop her weapon and ultimately slashed the toddler across the face.
