Hi @trentbartonland. My daughter uses your buses and the Mango app to get to and from school. However, her school are proposing to become a mobile free zone. Do you still do Mango cards?

@blakhak Hi it would cap using a bank card for the day but not weekly or monthly i'm afraid ~Neil

@trentbartonland That's really frustrating - it imposes a considerable excess cost on the journey pattern we have. Surely an Oyster type smart card would be a great opportunity here?

@MartinSLewis Is there any way of porting a fix? About to move house - can I fix and take with me?

GET OFF THE PRICE CAP IF YOU CAN. DON'T IGNORE THIS (unsure if you're on the Cap? You likely are!) There's a window of opportunity to lock in prices below the current Cap to avoid the huge hike coming in July. I went to school in the 1960s and early 70s. Just an ordinary secondary modern.
Mum used to scrimp and scrape to get the money for school uniform from the only school uniform shop in Croydon. It cost hundreds. Even back then.
Nowadays school uniform is available everywhere and it's so cheap.
Parents have never had it as easy as they do now. And all they do is moan. 🙄

These days you would just launch a drone, but back in the 1980s we didn't have drones (probably a good things seeing what else drones can do). If you wanted an aerial photograph like this one of Upperthorpe in Sheffield, you had to construct a brutalist concrete labyrinth (aka Kelvin Flats), climb to the very top, and take your photo. I like to think it was worth the climb.

@Pott_Shrigley_ Western Bank - Union Building behind. Two of those poster bollards were under the flyover until at least the late 90's.

Hi @IHGCorporate @HIExpress I've stayed with you many times over the years & I've always felt welcomed (including visits to this hotel). That welcome should be extended to anyone who has a funded room. This really isn't acceptable: bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@ianvisits Of course, insuring for £929m would mean it was insured for €1,066m...

@RHummBooks @PaulMBigland The buildings over the bridge are the backs of shops. Those windows were east facing, so probably helped illumination.

Who knew underground stations had a station pilot? Or maybe #whatstation 872 is a special case. I'm intrigued by the tall round-headed windows above the tunnel, and puzzled by the structure extreme right. Slightly staggered platforms. Does anyone know where this is, please?

@Pott_Shrigley_ ...but looking again now slightly less convinced. Might be something like Industry Street. Bugging me as I once lived on one of the streets off Howard Road!
