A Message Regarding the 12.0.5 Launch
The 12.0.5 patch launch was not up to our standards, and we know this disrupted your time and caused justified frustration.
The team has been working around the clock since launch to stabilize the game and fix the biggest issues players were hitting right away:
- See our hotfixes update here: blizz.ly/4mLyhSR
The team is taking lessons learned from this launch to help ensure this doesn't happen again. We will also work harder to communicate openly, early, and often when a launch doesn't go as expected: the known issues we're working on, fixes as they roll out, and any other information that would be useful to our community as problems are worked on and solved.
We care deeply about this game, and we play it right alongside you. We will do better.
Thanks for sticking with us,
The World of Warcraft Team

@plug_everything Incredible how After Effects is the 30yr old hot pile of shit being carried into the future by the hands of independent devs who actually want the stupid app to be efficient, unlike Adobe.

Introducing HotMenu, our latest free plugin. Coming soon. #aescripts #aftereffects #motiondesign #varang

@AffinityPlay The production cost of this exceeds the gross economic output of Liechtenstein.

@denniskovalev @verge You know Blender exists do you?
What's stopping independent devs to create something that mimics Illustrator, After Effects and Photoshop in the same open source level of Blender?
English

@verge Adobe might be the villain, but the “free” alternative isn’t noble (unless it's completely open-source), and the “you’re the product if it’s free” reality doesn’t magically disappear on the other side. Pretending otherwise is naive. Pick your poison wisely.

Today, we released Lyra 2.0, a framework for generating persistent, explorable 3D worlds at scale, from NVIDIA Research.
Generating large-scale, complex environments is difficult for AI models. Current models often “forget” what spaces look like and lose track of movement over time, causing objects to shift, blur, or appear inconsistent. This prevents them from creating the reliable 3D environments required for downstream simulations. Lyra 2.0 solves these issues by:
✅ Maintaining per-frame 3D geometry to retrieve past frames and establish spatial correspondences
✅ Using self-augmented training to correct its own temporal drifting.
Lyra 2.0 turns an image into a 3D world you can walk through, look back, and drop a robot into for real-time rendering, simulation, and immersive applications.

@medbecdev @Rothmus My child... communist were trying to infiltrate Venezuela since the 60s... Machurucuto incident during Raul Leoni was one of many attempts of Castro and the Russians to burrow into the country with their genocide ideology.
English

@Rothmus Venezuela is cursed by its very resources. The US didn’t just stumble into a country in need of help; they created the need for it. I’m not referring to just sanctions, but CIA’s involvement with installing Socialism in the region. Venezuelan politicians too are scum, of course.
