@blam Haha, I always thought The Wirecutter was founded on the idea of highlighting very specific high-quality products and reviewing them in-depth, rather than overwhelming people with options. I felt like that minimalist approach was lost with the NYT acquisition.

@blam Haha that’s helpful. I keep running into an issue where the tiles are lined up with one wall and crooked with the other and I just have to figure out where I’m most ok with hiding the imperfections. Like, where can I put a big chunk of caulk and call it a day?

@jadabird odds are nothing is level, nothing is square, in an old building. and a new building. I haven't sent a tweet in maybe half a decade but I can't resist a friend's home improvement project. you can do it!

My DIY project of putting peel and stick tiles on my kitchen floor has turned from something I thought I could do in a weekend to a constant source of defeat and depression. Just ordered a laser level to see if I’m right that my walls are crooked.
