@itsjwills He has put on 10 lbs since beginning of college season, so thats a positive. But its why he is as low as he is. Gotta be a dawg like McDaniels to survive if you're that skinny.

@blau25 Don’t love him. I think he got to do a ton at Michigan that he won’t be doing in the league. That still projects to a solid player if everything works out but there’s guys that i prefer over him at 10

@Bucks_Breakdown 6'9 with 7'4 wingspan that can guard 1-4 (and some 5s). He is an instant starter and think there is more there offensively. His off ball defense isn't there quite yet, but if it gets there, phewwwww.

Who do you want the Bucks to take with the 10th pick?

It’s not a matter of who’s better. If you’re trading a suddenly injury prone 31-year-old on an expiring contract it’s just hard to do better than a 24-year-old All-Star/DPOY. You’re not getting 100 cents on the dollar for Giannis under these conditions. They missed that moment.
Michael Backus@MikeJBackus

@SamQuinnCBS I DO think the pick cost would be lower but there's no way the Bucks are trading Giannis straight up for Mobley. Mobley is the better overall defender (tho Giannis can crank it up in spots), but even with GA's offensive issues, I like his offense better.

I will go to my grave believing that if the Warriors didn’t have to play a 7 game series against the Thunder before the Cavs in 2016, they win that series easily. They were not the same team after that OKC series. I also believe that if the 2019 Raptors didn’t have to play a 7 game series against Philly, they would have beat that overrated Bucks team in 5 games too. They were crushing the Bucks in game 1 of that series and ran out of gas. That carried over to Game 2 and the Raptors never regained their form until Game 3 The NBA playoffs is just as much of a war of attrition as boxing in the sense that some fights/series take so much out of a fighter/team that they’re never the same.

@blau25 You’re preaching to the wrong person here. I’m not media and I’m not a Giannis hater. I was calling him the best player in the league and this era’s Shaq from 20-22.

Which big in the NBA is expected to make everything happen on offense AND be the defensive problem solver with no real point of attack resistance up top or backside help? 🤔 With no AG to help, if Joker over commits on drivers, it’s a lob or a put back for Gobert every time.

@JonesOnTheNBA Yeah why weren't these conversations happening with Giannis then? He just gets buried, but when its Jokic all the media comes running to his defense.

@Isle_of_dog @JonesOnTheNBA He did not over perform the last 3 playoffs! That is the fact. His numbers are worse! His on court impact - worse! Why is that so hard to understand?!

@blau25 @JonesOnTheNBA He didn't underperform, he overperformed, as i have explained. His teammates sucking is why his overperformance didn't lead to deeper playoff runs. These are the facts, whether you accept them or not is up to you, but i am not going to explain it a tenth time.

Respectfully, Jokic is not a guy “that doesn’t pass the eye test.” Got his ass kicked in this series and folks are extrapolating that to his entire career. I’m not a stats and metrics guy. I watch a ton of games and dude has been like Neo in The Matrix at points in his career
Damien Peters@DamienPetersNBA

Nikola Jokic will now be the overwhelming example of “eye test over everything”. Since winning his first MVP the majority of spreadsheets and formulated NBA metrics claimed he was the greatest offensive player ever. There’s never been more pushback to that sentiment than right now.

@blau25 @JonesOnTheNBA There are no caveats. Only all time greats take bad rosters to 50+ wins and a ring. 1 all star appearance by a teammate in 11 years is literally unprecedented.

@Isle_of_dog @JonesOnTheNBA It obviously doesnt happen without him, but when you crowned BPITW the standard is significantly higher than that. You don't get all the caveats and then get to claim he's still the best. Has one Finals run that was the easiest in modern NBA history.

@blau25 @JonesOnTheNBA You were referencing previous years, not just this year. Last year's team barely had a starting 5 let alone depth, and still won 50 games and took OKC to 7 games. If you think any of that happens without him, your hate has blinded you to the obvious.
