I’ve refrained from tweeting about these statements that have been coming, and the jabs Cal has been taking after a few wins. I’m going to say this, and then I’m done and going back to worrying about that task at hand. Could Barnhart have done more at the end? Yes. But you lost with two top 8 picks and an All American to Oakland. You lost with the NPOY to St. Peter’s. (That’s not on resources… you had the horses.) We hadn’t been to the second weekend in 5 years. You soured your relationship with all the boosters. (Not just two. Almost all of them.) I love all the memories that Cal brought us, and I’m so thankful growing up he was the coach here for my teenage and college years. Let it go. The breakup was best for both of us. Good for you that you have been to back-to-back Sweet 16’s. I can’t wait until they hang your jersey in the rafters at Rupp. Mitch should have adapted to Nil quicker and maybe gotten you a new practice place. But that’s not why we were not winning. Go focus on an upcoming game with Arizona, and we will worry about Iowa State and see you next February. Now back to the Cats coverage in St.Louis.

@BigBlueCarti 2nd issue is Dioubate being the pin down screener. If that’s a shooter in that motion and he gets his ass to the corner after the help couldn’t have been as heavy as it was. Those 3 iffy shooters in a zoom set isn’t necessarily ideal from the jump.
