Yesterday our girls competed in the KY 2A Section 2 Championship—winning both games to claim the title. They advance to the @Kentucky_2A State Championship in Owensboro (April 17–19) at Jack Fisher Park. First game: Friday, April 17 at Noon vs. Section 6 winner

The fact that 3 of the top 5 teams in the state and some might argue the top 3 will have to go through each other just isn’t right! The state champion will more than likely be coming from the first session!

My Sweet 16 seeding proposal, with boys bracket below. Use 4 rankings - media poll, RPI, Massey and MaxPreps. Throw out best and worst ranking for each team, then take composite and seed. Probably way too complicated, but just an idea.

Coach Lindsey has every right to be frustrated but her team played this exact same Franklin-Simpson Lady Cats team February 3rd in their gym and routed them 75-49 and in the post game did not once mention “doing things the right way.” So right now it just doesn’t seem fair!
