Fun fact: Wikipedia has 10 times as much money as it needs. Very little of that goes towards improving the encyclopedia itself, and NOTHING to the authors. Their panhandling is purely a grift for supporting the ever growing parasitic Wikimedia Foundation

Thrilled to share news of our new, three-year $2.4 million project that explores pluralism and how societies overcome deep differences. Best part is getting to work on this project with Paul Dragos Aligica--whose work has inspired me for years. pitt.edu/pittwire/featu…

Netflix did not reform Blockbuster. Apple did not reform BlackBerry. Amazon did not reform Barnes & Noble. They didn't waste their time with the old system. They built a better alternative. And so should you.

@DelRey We know first hand what happens when you rely on Amazon and their FBA too much! @a.moise/the-movement-for-a-democratic-internet-has-begun-and-bleexy-is-leading-the-way-ff1b3432e957" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">medium.com/@a.moise/the-m…

We’ve allowed the digital realm to be overtaken by anti-democratic powers. It’s time for a revolution — starting with Amazon. @a.moise/the-movement-for-a-democratic-internet-has-begun-and-bleexy-is-leading-the-way-ff1b3432e957" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">medium.com/@a.moise/the-m… @profgalloway @linamkhan @stacyfmitchell @ilsr @openmarkets @blockchainers

If you want to have a diverse, competitive economy, where people invent new things, write new books, & come up with new ideas, you need to have diverse pathways to marke. We could see the distribution of goods collapse into a single pipeline named Amazon. It’s incredibly risky.

Third-party sellers — who are essentially business partners of Amazon's and generating over half of its sales — have long worried that Amazon uses their own sales data to compete against them. Two former employees at Amazon revea…lnkd.in/ecrS6TN lnkd.in/eKdzb-a

2 years ago, Americans were split on whether Amazon was good (33%) or bad (37%) for small business. Today, 59% say Amazon is bad for small businesses, and only 22% think it’s good. cnbc.com/2019/08/13/ame…
