@Theron518 @OWCavalry I remember in the 6v6 days, I was constantly flamed in ranked for being an offtank player (dva main specifically) and there was a serious drought of main tank players. In 5v5, those niche roles are obsolete, and I don't have to worry as much about my limited tank pool!

@blessthishex @OWCavalry Seriously. The wins feel SO much more satisfying as a Tank in a 5v5. For some people, it's too much responsibility, but that's what makes the role fun and unique to me.

Aaron Keller on the 5v5 vs 6v6 Debate 👥 The game director admitted they took too long to address it and are still not sure what to do with the data. He fears that multiple core identities may not be healthy for #Overwatch in the long term.

@FearMister @Gooberck @OWCavalry We are opposites </3 I play 6v6 once in a blue moon, but never very often bc it just feels too arcade-y to me now

@Gooberck @blessthishex @OWCavalry Yeah but the more u play the more tiring it gets, enjoying challenges r great I agree but personally I can't do more than 3 matches, it literally gets tiring. Meanwhile in 6v6 I queue tank all day long without breaking a sweat!

@ABunchOTrees @Gooberck @OWCavalry This is def true, I enjoyed playing Dva in the 6v6 days but it was certainly a much different playstyle. My best tanks at the moment are Dva/Sig, JQ, and Ramattra. I like all of em in 5v5. I'd readjust to 6v6, but keeping role q is a must for me personally

@blessthishex @Gooberck @OWCavalry But Rein, Zarya, and Winston (yes, I play them all) are the opposite. In 5v5 it almost feels like they’re missing a core part of their kit. Even Ball can feel that way at times. They can’t be everywhere doing everything like D.Va can. Rein is particularly bad.

@MorbidMura Yeahhhh but I fear if 5v5 was pushed to the side, it'd basically become obsolete, bc the majority DO favor 6v6. I'd readjust, but I do love being the only tank on the team lol
