But at this point, I honestly struggle to see how European policymakers intend to tackle the big structural problems ahead. While China is building dozens of nuclear reactors, the United States is also investing heavily in nuclear energy, solar capacity is booming, and China is rapidly scaling energy storage, Europe’s approach still feels erratic, vague, and fundamentally unserious.
