GM. Big milestone. @avax featured the ASTM D8558 standard today, marking a new chapter for global trade verification. Blockticity’s L1 is ready to authenticate billions in real-world goods at the speed global commerce expects. Agriculture, coffee, solar, metals, luxury. Tamper-evident. Onchain. At scale. Standards matter. Systems matter more when they work in the wild. Proud to be building where both meet. Thank you Avax. 🔺 & thank you @AvaCloud 🔺

Global trade is going onchain. @blockticity and ASTM have introduced a new global trade standard to quickly verify tracking and authenticity of global supply chain, ASTM D8558. Powered by Avalanche🧵:

GM We couldn’t have a Fraud Friday without this one… Two pharma execs just got 38 years for a $92M counterfeit HIV drug scheme. Not sold on the street. Distributed through real pharmacies. How? Not some complex hack. Paperwork. •Fake transaction histories •Forged pedigree docs •Relabeled bottles that “looked legit” Some patients received the wrong drugs entirely. This is a conformity assessment failure. Because the system assumes: If the documents check out → the product is real. But what if the documents are the fraud? That’s the gap. Verifiable records > trusted paperwork. Fraud Friday isn’t slowing down.

GM ☕️ The U.S. just opened Section 301 investigations into 60 economies over forced labor in global supply chains. At its core, this is a conformity assessment challenge. Governments rely on certificates, inspections, and test reports to verify how goods were produced. But if the documentation itself can’t be trusted, enforcement becomes nearly impossible. Strengthening the integrity of conformity assessment records is one of the most important steps toward more transparent global trade. That is exactly where digital infrastructure for conformity assessment can help.

GM ☕️ + 🥔 + 🧅 Couldn’t have a Fraud Friday without this one. A Florida man allegedly stole $600,000 worth of onions and potatoes by impersonating companies, ordering produce shipments, and diverting the loads before payment. The trick? Fake documentation and spoofed company emails that made suppliers think the orders were legitimate. It’s a reminder that fraud in global trade rarely starts with the cargo. It starts with paperwork and identity. Better verification and stronger conformity assessment around trade documents would make schemes like this a lot harder to pull off.

GM ☕️ We couldn’t have a Fraud Friday without talking about this one. Reports say a truck carrying 378,000 tins of ALP nicotine pouches tied to Tucker Carlson’s brand was hijacked after thieves showed up with what looked like legitimate pickup paperwork and carrier credentials. The shipment was reportedly worth millions. Now… whether this turns out to be a real theft or the greatest nicotine marketing stunt of all time, we honestly don’t know. But the underlying problem is very real. A huge percentage of cargo theft starts with documents that appear legitimate. Fake pickup orders. Spoofed bills of lading. Fraudulent carrier credentials. If the paperwork checks out, the cargo gets loaded. That is exactly where verifiable, tamper-evident trade documents can make a difference. Because when the paperwork can’t be trusted, the shipment never had a chance.

GM ☕️ Big regulatory move out of DC last week. The OCC just released its proposed implementing rules for the GENIUS Act (signed into law in 2025), laying out a detailed federal framework for payment stablecoin issuers. This is the first comprehensive federal rulemaking under the Act, pulling stablecoins deeper into the regulated financial system. Key elements in the proposal: • Strict 1:1 reserve backing with high-quality, liquid assets (no funny business) • Clear redemption standards for holders • Robust risk management, governance, and audit requirements • Minimum capital thresholds (including a $5M floor for new issuers during initial periods) • OCC supervisory & enforcement powers • A rebuttable presumption against yield-passing schemes via affiliates/third parties to dodge the Act’s no-interest rule Bottom line: clearer rules, stronger oversight, and real guardrails for stability. For players building at the intersection of trade finance, payments, and verifiable real-world assets; this maturation is huge. Compliant, auditable stablecoins as settlement infrastructure elevate the need for rock-solid asset conformity, provenance, and verification. Standards. Supervision. Auditability. What do you think: net positive for adoption or added friction? #Stablecoins #GENIUSAct #CryptoRegulation #Blockchain #DigitalAssets

GM. It’s Monday, but this one earns a retroactive Fraud Friday. • 60,000 forged authenticity certificates • £7m in counterfeit aircraft parts • Engines used in Boeing 737s and Airbus A320s • £39m in airline losses • Global groundings All run from a home garage. The parts were physical. The fraud was in the paperwork. If a bolt does not fit, it should not take a criminal investigation to uncover the problem. Authenticity needs infrastructure, not assumptions.

GM 🚛 Indiana just announced a crackdown on illegally issued CDLs, including fines up to $50,000 for carriers that employ unqualified drivers. Stronger enforcement is one step. But enforcement works best when credentials, audits, and compliance records are tamper-evident and instantly verifiable. That’s where blockchain-backed conformity data changes the game.

GM. 3.37 million pounds recalled. Class I risk. Glass fragments in frozen food. When a recall hits, the real test is not the press release. It is the paper trail. Who tested it? Which batch? Which facility? Which inspection standard? Food safety runs on conformity assessment. Conformity assessment runs on documentation. We make those documents tamper-evident and AI-ready, so when there is a problem, the truth is not buried in a PDF. Trust in global trade starts with verifiable records.

GM ☀️ A container hits a U.S. port. Everything looks fine. Until it’s detained. Now the meter is running: • $150–$300 per day in demurrage • $100–$250 per day in storage • Drayage rebooking fees • Missed retail windows • Inventory stuck while cash is already out the door A single detained container can easily cost $10,000–$50,000+ depending on how long it sits. Multiply that across multiple SKUs or shipments and you’re suddenly looking at six figures. And most of the time, it’s not the product. It’s the paperwork. Bills of lading. COAs. Origin docs. Compliance records. If they can’t be verified quickly and confidently, the shipment waits. Blockticity doesn’t certify goods. We make critical trade documents tamper-evident, verifiable, and AI-ready so conformity assessment moves at the speed trade actually requires. In global trade, documentation isn’t just admin work, it’s risk management.

GM There’s a lot of attention right now on “chameleon carriers.” Here’s a simple one-slide explanation of how the cycle works and why it’s hard to detect early. When identity is tied to paperwork instead of persistent ownership data, restarting becomes easier. Prevention starts at registration. @freightcaviar - thx for your reporting on this! 🙌

GM Another FraudFriday…. $300,000+ in counterfeit luxury goods seized by @CBP in Pittsburgh. Luxury handbags, scarves & jewelry. All counterfeit. In FY25, CBP seized 78,000,000+ fake items worth an estimated $7.3B if genuine. Fraud scales across borders. Conformity assessment and tamper-evident trade documentation should scale with it.
