Reports say a truck carrying 378,000 tins of ALP nicotine pouches tied to Tucker Carlson’s brand was hijacked after thieves showed up with what looked like legitimate pickup paperwork and carrier credentials. The shipment was reportedly worth millions. Now… whether this turns out to be a real theft or the greatest nicotine marketing stunt of all time, we honestly don’t know. But the underlying problem is very real. A huge percentage of cargo theft starts with documents that appear legitimate. Fake pickup orders. Spoofed bills of lading. Fraudulent carrier credentials. If the paperwork checks out, the cargo gets loaded. That is exactly where verifiable, tamper-evident trade documents can make a difference. Because when the paperwork can’t be trusted, the shipment never had a chance.
