@TheCSMatrixer @ChampRDS If Gaethje vs. Hooker is happening then Max vs. Dustin for the BMF is the only possible fight. This is ideal because Dustin has the chance to retire on a title fight, and Gaethje still has a chance to earn a title shot against Islam if he beats Hooker.

@ChampRDS If Justin is fighting Hooker, then that means the DP trilogy isn’t happening & apparently DP & the UFC are close on getting a deal done for his retirement fight. I wonder who DP is going to fight. It could be Max but IMO the Justin fight would’ve been better since they’re 1-1

@MigClass I have no training or expertise but the uppercut seems like the hardest/riskiest hand strike in MMA. I feel like I only ever see good uppercuts in the UFC from the highest level strikers like Adesanya, Petr Yan, Gaethje, etc.

Mirko Cro Cop's uppercuts were an important part of his game. To hide against the head kick, opponents often ducked down behind a high guard. The uppercut both punishes that defense and stands them up for follow up head kicks. In MMA, it was an effective anti-wrestling tool.
