Inoue-Nakatani was miles better than both Stevenson-López and Canelo-Bud, largely because it was between two P4P talents at their best who posed interesting stylistic questions for one another.

I think both Shakur-Teofimo and Inoue-Nakatani were underwhelming fights. Both are great fighters, but neither fight was a true masterpiece. Crawford-Canelo was better last year, for example. #Boxing

On Inoue: Nakatani is the first elite fighter he’s ever faced, 14 years into his career. He’s incredible, but let’s not act like it’s the cherry on top. He shared a division with 3 P4P talents: this is the first time he’s actually faced one, 9 YEARS after he left that division.

The Nakatani win means so much more because of his success. If Inoue had walked over him it would’ve suggested he wasn’t an elite talent.
Junto adapting and having real success in the mid rounds and forcing Inoue to adjust elevates the win.

What a fight. Shame that the cut killed Nakatani's momentum but Inoue also got a second wind in the 11th after controlling most of the early rounds.
