@Tesco Many thanks for taking the time to reply. I’d hate to see the kids miss out on something else because of the pandemic. Like I say, it was such a good scheme that you started and I’m sure countless children appreciated it as well as their families

.@Tesco do you still do the free fruit scheme for children when shopping in store? I was told you didn’t today by someone but I thought maybe you just don’t have baskets of food out anymore because of covid. Thanks!

@Tesco Thanks I appreciate that. Could you not just put the crate higher up with some hand sanitiser and a sign saying for adults to pick the fruit only for the children? It’s such a good scheme you started it would be a shame not to see it again because of covid

@blondite Hi Sarah, we try to reduce contact with items as much as possible. With all the fruit in the one crate with loads of childrens hands reaching in, it's just difficult to manage. We'll still see what we can do as of course kids eating their fruit is important! Thanks - Sharon

@blondite Hi Sarah, thanks for getting in touch. We have stopped doing free fruit for kids at the moment due to the current situation. There isn't a date for when this will return but we are continuously reviewing the possibilities. I hope this helps! Thanks - Sharon
