@MageVivika I understand you!! x my pair of long-term buddies and I decided on a monthly hangout just to maintain the friendship more -- if this wasn't the case I would've gonna years without seeing them and assumed it was okay haha :") I also just enjoy doin my own thing!

@bloubutt I think the only way I can actually have regular contact with people is if it's part of my routine which tends to mean just the people I live with since I can't work/am home mostly and I live alone so... I wish that "you know where to find me" didn't read as a cop-out to many 💔

Sorry to be UwU ADHD baby on main but I’ve had to have multiple hard discussions w people about my emotional permanence struggles and it has just been hit after hit of watching ppl I care about decide I am incapable of loving them and just making excuses

@MageVivika 1000%! I see myself as an NPC where I'll assume we're good and if you want my attention I'll wait until I'm approached -- I never mean it as a "I don't feel the need to put in effort" tho! after every in person outing I always tear it apart so I favor texting if anything at all

@bloubutt @Adabear_Art I have social anxiety too, yeah, part of my PTSD (& autism?). I just don't know what to do about it because most people take my lack of initiating contact as a sign that I don't want contact & get fed up with being the initiator. Which is fine! I don't expect them to but yeah idk

I don't feel a necessity to actively hang out with people I consider friends bc we've already done so in the past and I know we're still friends even after that. ofc this is mixed with social anxiety but ya!

@Adabear_Art Hey, so emotional permanence...I read up on it & it seems like I have too much? Like I can have a nice conversation or hang out with someone & that satisfies my need to see them basically forever? I think about them & remember the good times we had which satisfies that need 🫠
