Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last few days. It means the world to me. I will continue to speak up in support of women and girls sports being protected from males at all levels, from grassroots to elite. Female sports must be XX only! #SaveWomensSports

@jamesdavis6939 They do say the silliest things. Graham sought me out to correct me almost first thing this morning. Clearly he doesn’t have that much of a life away from shouting at people about Parkrun.

This is why I speak up about parkrun. This girl was robbed of 1st Female by a man. The thrill of thinking she would be first ruined by a man and parkrun acquiescing to the demands of men. Shameful!

@Andy_Webb1021 @mara_yamauchi My 11 year old niece is an impressive runner. She has a sub 20 parkrun time. We attended an out and back course last month and we realised at the turn she was first female. She was over the moon at the finish but there was a TW ahead of her. She also cared.

Many have created additional accounts to have a go at supporters of women. One day this will all come to an end. People already know that men cannot think themselves into womanhood.

Without listening to women’s valid opinions. All under the guise of inclusion, which we know excludes women and girls from enjoying the same benefits that men have in Parkrun. When we point that out, they tell us to set up our own events, leave or wave the unfair policies at us.

Why do the Parkrun men go round and round, always seeking legal arguments, pointing their fingers at everyone who seeks fairness in women’s sports, calling sports women men or claiming that first place isn’t actually first place. They spend hours arguing over the same thing

Use the link to SEEN in Sport Guide in post 2 to respond to 4 main questions on sport in @GOVUK “Keeping Children Safe in School” consultation /3 If you are short on time, go straight to the consultation Q35 and pick and choose from the bullets points below; Question 35: Do paragraphs 94-97 provide clarity for schools and colleges about the circumstances in which the school is justified in having a policy of single-sex sports? Answer : No. Remove Paragraphs 96 and 97 A single-sex sport category must not become mixed-sex by allowing even one gender-questioning boys to participate in girls’ sport Allowing “social transition” creates legal discrimination risk. Children, parents and staff cannot be coerced to consent to boys in girls’ sport Only allowing exclusion of boys from girls’ school sport on the grounds of “safety” implies schools can remove single-sex categories in non-contact sports such as athletics, swimming, tennis etc. It is disproportionately unfair to girls. Male advantage starts from birth and is significant well before puberty; primary school girls also want and need fair sport. 66% of primary school girls say they prefer girls-only school sport (Youth Sport Trust) Confidence, dignity and privacy are also justifications for single-sex sport. “Safety” is not defined. Sport involves safeguarding concerns of physical contact, risk of injury, power imbalances between the sexes, supervision challenges and changing facilities. Schools can explore initiatives to ensure inclusion of gender questioning children within their own sex plus create some mixed-sex opportunities which girls can choose to opt into. However, girls should not be expected to relinquish single-sex sport.

The survey has 41 questions but Q35 is the key one for sport If you only have a couple of minutes, you can press return for each question till you reach Q35 The issues with the KCSIE guidance for sport for Q35 are listed in bullet points in the following post 2/ Link to the SEEN in Sport guidance for responding to the consultation ➡️ seeninsport.org/consultation-o…

@rowingdonna @CheekyWeeBism @mara_yamauchi I’m in contact with parkrun. Would the elimination of categories in reporting finishing times resolve your complaints about self-identifying into categories at parkrun?

At least 10 males ran in the Female category in UK parkrun today. One got 1st Female. His total haul of 1st Female finishes is approaching 100. The highest number of 1st Female finishes held by a male that I’m aware of is 121, so this young man could make history soon if he…

It's a non competitive community social activity where you run, walk, hop, use a mobility scooter or be pushed in a wheelchair. You can even be pulled round by a dog to a faster time... How unfair!

@scrufwiththecat @mara_yamauchi Parkrun is not a structurally competitive event and it has a registration category that is fully aligned with its charitable objects and lawful — this does not impose any rule that can be “cheated”. You simply asserted “cheating” with no applicable argument.

Nearly all the men in the F category in parkrun that I’m aware of were brought to my attention by people, many of whom I’ve never met, who care about fairness. Today I’ve learned about another man. He began parkrun in one of the two extra categories, Another Gender Identity…
