@franfraschilla @ArizonaMBB I agree that he probably isn't going to UNC at this time, because he just took AZ through the conference realignment mess and doesn't want to go through that again with UNC in a few years. However, he will soon leave because his AD is terrible and the dept is $250M in the red.

At this point in time, there is no better job for Tommy Lloyd than @ArizonaMBB. If you don’t want to call the Wildcats a “blueblood,” that’s fine. But he’s not leaving for North Carolina or the other “blue bloods” that could open next year. Just spend a basketball weekend in Tucson to understand that.

Arizona AD Desiree Reed-Francois tells me the following regarding Tommy Lloyd’s future with the Wildcats: “Tommy has done a phenomenal job. He’s one of the best coaches in America. We have been engaged with his representatives about a new contract since before the start of the NCAA Tournament. Those discussions will continue and it is our goal that he retires as a Wildcat.”

@DFW_Cougar @tucsontwitchy Bradley’s definitely not the best talent or the best NBA prospect. If AJ was POY I’d get their criteria, but the coaches criteria was different. I think we’d have less wins because we wouldn’t have someone step up in the biggest games and venues, and our defense would be worse

@tucsontwitchy I actually don’t agree with BYU having more wins if they were switched. Zero chance. Would Arizona have less wins? Possibly. But with BYUs injuries, not having AJ would hurt more than having Bradley would help. Bradley is awesome. Not best player in the league tho.

If you asked 100 Arizona basketball fans who they’d rather have on their team right now, AJ Dybansta or Jaden Bradley, all 100 would say Bradley. Because college basketball is an emotional game and that’s what makes it special. They’re wrong, but I respect it.

@DFW_Cougar I understand your opinion. If we had AJ instead, we’d be worse in the clutch and our defense would be worse (trade off for a great isolation guy). Jaden scores 36 points per 40 minutes of clutch time. That’s insane. It seems like BYU fans don’t understand this perspective.

The “rugby” mentality of Big 12 officiating doesn’t carry over to the NCAA Tournament. It will be interesting to see how the calls come for AJ. I imagine his attacking style will get rewarded with more free throws. We’ll see! #BYU @YsGuysLive

@BYUFlorida NBA draft is always about potential, as anyone who watches NBA or college basketball understands. Demin was picked 8th, and scored 10 points a game. Carter Bryant 6 points a game, drafted 14th. Caleb Love, Arizona’s best player last year, was undrafted.

Then surely Jaden will get drafted higher than AJ, right?

Everyone wants to talk about what a joke the PAC 12 conference was… Well if you didn’t know UCLA is going to the BIG 10 Championship and Arizona is going to the BIG 12 Championship! Guess the PAC 12 wasn’t that bad 😂
