We should not plead with Hazard to stay but bid him a resounding farewell of the type reserved for legends. Along with Cooke and Osgood he’s been the player who’s given me most joy at this club. If he never reached his full potential that was our fault not his. Thank you Eden.

@dmacook @NotAProjectCFC @FFulbright @CFCJacob90 Respect works both ways. I made a simple point to “Fullbright” about why LR may have chosen not to bring on the kids. He called me a “tool” and blocked me. Jacob chose simply to patronise. Not the smartest way to get fans onside.

Wow. We must be living rent free in this guy’s head. For context, all I’ve ever said is I want what’s best for the club I love. Today was a good result, no doubt. But let’s keep some perspective. We’ve beaten a bottom of League One side like we should. That doesn’t erase Everton, Newcastle, Leeds, Burnley, PSG… the list goes on. BlueCo need to go. A 7–0 win against a team heading for League Two isn’t changing that. Time for bed chap.

Wow. Wake up to all this nonsense. You can tell we’ve got a game around the corner. Briefs galore. Let’s unpick it and bring some rationale. 1️⃣ Players are disappointed about Enzo’s comments and believe he’s showing signs of throwing in the towel. Frankly, based on results and individual performances, I think the whole squad have thrown in the towel. I don’t see players being upset with Enzo. Flirting with Madrid isn’t ideal, but it’s indicative of where he sees the club. He doesn’t believe in the people running the project and clearly understands they won’t be held accountable for the failings of the squad. 2️⃣ Liam Rosenior has been working hard over the international break alongside his staff and sporting directors to address physical and mental fatigue. He’s thought to be stressed. There’s no appetite to change manager and the squad are struggling with instability. Nice bloke, shit manager. That’s exactly what this squad think. They see him for what he is. An inexperienced coach handed a job of this stature due to his connections with Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley. He didn’t get the job on merit. Glad he’s been working hard. Surprised he hasn’t drafted a couple of inspirational LinkedIn posts to keep everyone updated. He, and his entire backroom staff, aren’t at the level required. If fans can see that, imagine what the players think. They’re actively questioning him, his instructions, and his ability to set up a team to compete. 3️⃣ The club are prepared to rethink the transfer strategy. A reset is required due to poor returns on more experienced signings in the past. Joao Pedro cited as an example of signing proven Premier League players. This is hilarious. A “reset”? No, you’ve made catastrophic failures. The pressure is building and you know it. Players and fans are aligned that this isn’t Chelsea, and now you’re trying to quieten the noise. You point to Joao Pedro. Any other examples? No. Over 50 signings and the only real value for money has been Palmer and maybe Estevao. The pressure on this club needs to be relentless. The figures released paint a picture of a club in financial freefall. Billions squandered on inadequate players. Change at ownership level is critical.
