Amazon just made the film "Air" whose whole story was about lauding Michael Jordan's mom for (rightly!) demanding the talent get a cut of the revenue of products they endorse. In this situation, actors & writers are the talent - they are making the same demand as Jordan's mom.

I think that SAG-AFTRA's demand for 2% of studio and streaming gross revenue is the correct way forward. Many of these struggles will eventually need to demand to connect worker pay raise to gross intake. This will also halt or slow down companies raising prices in the future.

I think people are shooting the messenger by blaming @CNN for the reaction the Republican crowd had for Trump. We think Trump is a monster. But they love that monster. That's a super ugly fact that we're trying to avoid by blaming CNN for airing true Republican viewpoints.
