Julian Álvarez at @ChelseaFC would be absolutely elite, and I’ll tell you exactly why. 🔵 The fit is perfect. Chelsea play high-intensity, press-heavy football and that is precisely the environment Álvarez thrives in. Relentless, aggressive in the press and never stops running from the first whistle to the last. 💪 The numbers speak for themselves too. At @ManCity and @atleticomadrid he proved he can contribute goals and assists at the highest level. With the creative midfield Chelsea have around him, 20+ goals a season is not unrealistic at all. 📊 And the mentality? This is a World Cup winner who consistently shows up in the biggest moments, Champions League nights, derbies, finals. That winning mentality would elevate everyone around him. His movement alone would drag defenders and create enormous space for Cole Palmer to operate freely. That partnership would be genuinely frightening to face. 😤 The only concern is Chelsea already have Joao Pedro who has been absolutely outstanding. Fitting both into Liam Rosenior’s plans would be a serious headache for the manager. 🤔 But headaches aside. Álvarez would be a 9/10 signing. He would immediately plant himself among the very best strikers in the Premier League. 🔵⚡

🚨 Julián Álvarez: “Yesterday we practiced free kicks. I took several, maybe five or six, and did NOT score any”. “Today was the day. It came at a key moment, so I’m very happy”.

I just realized that Enzo Maresca was in the stands today watching Chelsea fall apart against Nottingham Forest. If the board had actually listened to him and given him what he asked for, we probably wouldn’t be in this situation now. Instead of talking about fighting just to qualify for the Champions League, we could have been comfortably sitting in 2nd or 3rd place already. The truth is, even bringing in Xabi Alonso won’t fix this. The real problem goes deeper. The only solution is to change the sporting directors and move away from this policy of only signing young players. The club needs experienced players and proven winners to bring back the right mentality and take the team to where it used to be. That’s the only way forward.

The physicality from Everton players in this second half have been top notch. Man City players can't even match them.

You can't win the title playing like this. Kovacic should have started this game in rodri absence but Pep being pep always overthink things and make the wrong decisions. Well it's over because arsenal are going to win all remaining 3 games.

I wasn’t really disappointed with what I saw against Forest today because, honestly, I didn’t expect much from the players. From experience, when a squad tries to force a manager out, it affects them mentally and their performances drop as a result. It was obvious in the loss to Brighton that they weren’t playing for Liam Rosenior anymore. The problem is, that decision has come at a cost because the board took too long to act. If you look back at the 2015/16 season under José Mourinho, after the fallout involving Eden Hazard and the team doctor, the whole squad basically stopped performing. Willian was the only one carrying the team with consistent performances. Even after Mourinho was sacked, most of the players struggled to get back to their best until that game against Spurs that ended their title hopes. Right now, it feels like this group has already given up. Instead of pushing for Europa League or Conference League football, it looks like they’d rather not play in Europe at all. For me, I don’t see anything positive coming out of this season anymore. Even the FA Cup final doesn’t inspire confidence. I just don’t see this team stepping up, especially if it’s not for Champions League football.

Spreadsheets cannot measure heart. Algorithms cannot measure leadership. AI metrics cannot measure what it feels like to play in front of 40,000 Chelsea fans at Stamford Bridge with everything on the line. BlueCo came to Chelsea with a data model. Buy young. Buy cheap. Develop. Sell. Repeat. They read it in a textbook somewhere between their private equity deals. It has never worked in football. Not once. Not anywhere. Because football is not a balance sheet. It is not a portfolio. It is not a business experiment. Drogba was not a data point. Terry was not an algorithm. The nights that made this club great were built on things no spreadsheet will ever capture. BlueCo did not come here to win. They came here to test a model. And they chose Chelsea as the laboratory. We are a heritage club. 120 years of history. Not a startup. Not a proof of concept. Not a vehicle for private equity experimentation. Tonight was what happens when you try to quantify the unquantifiable and buy a squad with no soul no identity and no winners. Find your experiment somewhere else. Chelsea Football Club is not yours to break. #BlueCoOut #SaveChelsea #ChelseaFC #Chelsea #CFC #PremierLeague #AresManagement

Honestly, he said it perfectly. The problem isn’t the players or the manager, it’s BlueCo and the sporting directors with these constant experiments. This approach has never really worked in football. Teams that win big trophies or consistently compete at the top are built around experienced players and serial winners. You can have young talents, of course, but they need experienced players around them to learn from. And if you’re signing young players, they should at least have a winning background. Look at the past. Eden Hazard had already won the league in France before joining Chelsea. Juan Mata, Cesc Fàbregas, and N'Golo Kanté were all proven winners. They came into a team full of leaders like Frank Lampard, John Terry, Gary Cahill, César Azpilicueta, and Petr Čech. The result? They delivered and won everything. Now look at the current squad. Most of these players haven’t won any major trophies before. The only exception is Cole Palmer, and even he didn’t play a big role in those wins. So how can we expect this group to deliver when they don’t yet know what it takes to win? Either BlueCo change their approach and bring in experienced, proven winners who can set the standard, or we’ll keep ending up in the same position every season. This model just isn’t going to work.
