I simply cannot understand why people are so angry about a ballroom that future Presidents will enjoy and is 100% privately funded. President Trump could save a kitten from a tree and it would still be a scandal.

🚨Byron Donalds Deserves Better Than This From Republicans🚨 I’ve been a Republican for years. I’ve fought hard for this party. I’ve written books attacking CRT and DEI. I’ve always rejected identity politics and never once told anyone to vote based on race. That’s why I say this proudly: I look up to Byron Donalds. I’ve followed his career closely — a man of deep faith, unquestionable integrity, and one of the most consistently conservative voting records in Congress. In 2024, he stood shoulder-to-shoulder with President Trump, campaigning across the country and fearlessly going on The Breakfast Club to bring Black men into our movement. He was on the VP shortlist for a reason: he’s charismatic, principled, and effective. When he announced his run for Governor of Florida, I expected tough competition. What I didn’t expect was the ugly smears and character assassination coming from some within our own ranks. It’s not the majority — most Republicans aren’t racist and believe in judging people by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. But it’s deeply disturbing to watch Byron get labeled a “criminal” and have his teenage past relentlessly dug up, while his white opponents face nothing close to the same scrutiny. To Black conservatives especially, this doesn’t sit right. If you don’t support him, that’s fine. Attack his policies. But you can’t — because they’re rock-solid conservative. So instead, some resort to dragging up his youth and throwing mud, hoping something sticks. That’s not conservatism. That’s not principle. That’s weakness pretending to be opposition. Byron Donalds has earned better. Real Republicans should demand better.

@AmosFromWV Everyone is ignoring that the state’s House and Senate passed the legislation to rename the airport last month. He didn't do it on a whim or to earn brownie points. He knew that if he vetoed the bill it would seem petty. He knows which battles to fight.
