@MattWeaverRA I think Burton’s *body of work* is what pushes him into HOF territory. What he’s done beyond driving— broadcasting and advocacy for safety and the drivers (he’s part owner of the CARS tour too). That’s what makes him a remarkable contribution to the sport as a whole

Burton's an interesting case because he raced against Earnhardt, Gordon and Johnson and while you can only race who lines up next to you, he was frequently right there. But JB's contributions post-driving are absolutely a factor too as he's *still* one of the most important voices in every room he walks into.
