The reason why coaches like joint practices more than preseason games: control. If the coaching staffs work together, you can get the work you need in live drills without beating each other up. If you do it right and have a good plan, you get as much out of those than the game

@StacyPatton89 Echoing what a lot of people said, the main way to do it is counting calories. It’s not sexy or exciting, but it’s the best way. The added benefit is after some time you begin to understand what is an ideal portion size for you at every meal.

Look, sane Knicks fans understand that Kemba's knee is a definite question mark. He needs to prove he can stay healthy. Expectations will be adjusted accordingly. But NY fans have every right to be ecstatic they now have a PG (an NYC-bred PG at that) with All-Star-level talent.
