After a month living under Iranian missile threats, we took our kids and left Israel for a short break. We landed late at night in Athens (Greece) but the next morning, after just a 10-minute walk around the city, we went straight back to the hotel and booked the earliest flight out to our next destination. I won’t stay in a place where antisemitism is so open and pervasive. Every corner was covered in shameful graffiti, hateful slogans, and antisemitic imagery. Athens, take a good look at yourself. The city is dirty, chaotic, and disgraceful. You’re disrespecting one of the greatest legacies in human history; the birthplace of philosophy, literature, and democracy.
