is there a max for live plugin that lets you completely customize the left side of ableton. i want something more like 11, but why not improve on it? im curious whats out there? i am going to make one for myself, but id love to see what others did before me and chat with them.

also i feel like a lot of people ask advice and legit get angry you replied. okay lets just pretend like that attitude will take you far🫠

this person was asking about how to send emails etc and was so unspecific in the email i couldn't tell if they were booking or trying to get booked...this is why you aren't getting booked write a normal email. like how is the person you email not know???

@Filter_Dread @fabfilter @Ableton i like to think of it as there are a million ways to have "Sound A" change "Sound B". compression, volume, a band like pro q, something like soothe or gullfoss. BUT some of the coolest ways is affecting a sound (b) with sound (a) and sound a is inaudible. its just a signal

@Filter_Dread sorry work "emergency"...then you could use something like an eq and map that band to an external input. @fabfilter and/or @Ableton + max for live make it so easy. so you "sidechain" a band of frequencies. not the whole part of the sound you are effecting.

Side chaining is like weird magic to me I haven’t got a clue how I would use it

@lakiadrp @suziAnalog let me tell you...not understanding how those mics work at my old job was directly correlated to time spent with random dudes who ate hoagies for like every single meal. i learned fast how to set em up.

@blvksite @suziAnalog They're literally called lapel mics for this reason! That's where they go for the best and most clear audio

The small content mic literacy crisis is so sad to see. The small mics were always supposed to be clipped or hidden! The audio sounds crazy near your mouth! And not 1 person has invented an aesthetic “mic holder” yet….the production assistant consciousness within me weeps.

I DO NOT CARE IF ITS 2D VISUAL ART, 3D ART, MUSIC, ETC I JUST WANT TO ABLE TO AUTOMATE AND MODULATE THAT KNOB BASED ON OTHER THINGS. don't give me a knob and make me choose a static position please...thank you
