The Republican Senate crisis over Trump's insurrectionist slush fund is so big that half of the Republican Senators were ready to vote with Democrats to rein in the fund. open.substack.com/pub/politicusu…

Since the Clintons were subpoenaed and had to give testimony about their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein why haven’t the Trumps had to do the same? Who thinks they need to be subpoenaed immediately? 1. Yes make them testify 2. No they don’t need too

Remember when all the Supreme Court Justices set the 'example' for #Ethics? Sadly, no more! 😡 Raise a ✋ if you agree that anyone who FAILS to 'tell the truth' during testimony before Congress, should be impeached 'immediately' or RESIGN? 🙋‍♂️ #NobodyAboveTheLaw #TermLimits ⤵️

BREAKING: LIKE A GOOD NEIGHBOR! Trump crony Howard Lutnick donates $5 million to House Republicans right before his testimony on his relationship with the convicted sex trafficker of underage girls, his next-door neighbor! Donald Trump’s Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, dropped a $5 million donation to a major Republican super PAC just weeks before he was scheduled to testify behind closed doors about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein, according to a new scoop by the NYT. The massive contribution to the Congressional Leadership Fund, the main super PAC supporting House Republicans and Speaker Mike Johnson is one of the largest ever from a sitting Cabinet secretary. It came shortly before Lutnick appeared for questioning earlier this month about his relationship with Epstein, his next-door neighbor on East 71st Street New York for over a decade. Epstein files released earlier this year show Lutnick’s name appeared in more than 250 documents. In 1999, he wrote a glowing recommendation letter for Epstein, calling him a “gentleman of the highest integrity” and helping him secure tax breaks in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The timing is impossible to ignore. Lutnick cuts a huge check to protect Republican House members – including those on the Oversight Committee investigating him – right before he has to answer questions about one of the most notorious sex traffickers in modern history. What's he got to hide, we wonder? This is pay-to-play politics that is SOP in Trumpworld. A Cabinet secretary using his personal fortune to buy goodwill from the very lawmakers who are supposed to be holding him accountable. The donation adds to Lutnick’s already massive contributions to Trump-aligned causes. He previously gave millions to Trump’s super PAC during the 2024 campaign. This level of blatant self-dealing and corruption should shock every American. No one should be allowed to buy political protection with millions of dollars while questions about Jeffrey Epstein linger. If you’re disgusted by yet another example of Trump administration officials using enormous sums of money to shield themselves from scrutiny over Epstein connections, like and share this post.
