Billy Donovan being in the NBA for the last 11 years, while college basketball completely changed ... makes him a better UNC candidate, not worse.
College basketball is pro basketball now. I actually think Billy (or another NBA guy) makes a ton of sense.

If Billy Donovan takes another blueblood gig this cycle, Kentucky fans might storm Mitch Barnhart’s office. The timing works better for Billy D to have those conversations this year than two years ago, but he would’ve listened then if UK was willing to wait.

@mrBobbyBones That’s what happens when you are on a down turn over 6 years. Matt speaks what he thinks (with more insider info than 99% of fans). Can’t fault him for being as honest as he can be. He also has the same opinion as probably 70% of the fan base, problem is the other 30 are loud.

I’ve had my issues with Matt. And issues with Kentucky fans (mostly faceless avatars). But no one loves Kentucky sports more than that guy. No one has dedicated more of their life on the media side to Kentucky sports than Matt Jones. Fan base is eating itself. 👏 x.com/RunItBackFDTV/…
