The amount of H.S. Players that you’re going to see re-classing in the next few years because of the college portal is going to be mind boggling. This is going to start affecting a lot of public high schools as players think that extra year is going to help. Maybe it will, maybe it wont!

Players Surround yourself with people that expect and demand your best, on and off the field. If people don't expect a lot from you, you're around the wrong people.

The #1 job of a coach is to build a culture. 1. Establish the culture you want 2. Encourage the culture you want 3. Enforce the culture you want. Do this every day. Constant reflection is important.

@CoachSwit If the coach is seriously worried about this, share guidelines and expectations if there really is a conflict. There is video everywhere kids are use to it and can be a great learning tool.

@CoachSwit With siblings in sports and parents having to split to be with kids the video is great! Parents working multiple jobs or late shifts have an opportunity to see their kids play. Maybe looking at parents taking video or photos is helping the family stay connected.

Another High School Coach this week says, I’m so tired of parents running up to the backstop and taking video of their kid hitting. He said the kid has enough to worry about then having a camera in his face every at bat! Thoughts on this?
