@CouRageJD Went through RDR2 recently as well and it’s the masterpiece we’ve always known it was. It’s eight years old and still beyond a lot of the modern tech we see today in games.

Today, I beat Red Dead Redemption 2 for the first time. A truly unmatched immersive story experience. Gut wrenching but rewarding in all the right ways. I truly couldn't be more grateful to have played that game with thousands of you watching. Thank you.

From my perspective in the press he was always so open, honest enthusiastic and generous. He was very supportive of our work at GameSpot and at noclip. Great interviewee and basically always said yes to a chat / email. He was also one of the smartest studio leads imho. gutted.

Rob Reiner was a true and good human being and an extraordinary director. He was vital and honest and him and amichele were cornerstones of their community and committed to their art and the good of everyone around them. A staggering loss.

Michelle and I are heartbroken by the tragic passing of Rob Reiner and his beloved wife, Michele. Rob’s achievements in film and television gave us some of our most cherished stories on screen. But beneath all of the stories he produced was a deep belief in the goodness of people—and a lifelong commitment to putting that belief into action. Together, he and his wife lived lives defined by purpose. They will be remembered for the values they championed and the countless people they inspired. We send our deepest condolences to all who loved them.
