Indeed, questionable use of authority, and matters that affect the public should never be ignored or brushed aside. These issues must be examined through proper investigation and due process. Questioning those in authority is a civic right — it is part of a functioning democracy. The public deserves clear answers, particularly when decisions made by those in power affect the nation as a whole. And while all of this continues, let’s also pray for our reporters and journalists who continue to do their work despite the pressure, criticism, and dangers around them.
