I’ve said that more board game designers should use AI in the development/playtesting process. I’m working with a publisher where my AI just found a dominant strategy that human play testers missed. Ruins the game. Luckily we can now change some rules before it went to print!

The alignment tools are smart enough to lay out hex tiles in a grid pattern, but we're also working on grid generators to automate this entirely.

@AlanZucconi I am so frustrated that "spaghetti visual coding" is the only form people are talking about. I love the vertical visual scripting ("event sheet") from @ConstructTeam and would love to see this kind of presentation in more game softwares It even looks like more like "real coding"

@m_guerville @nicolodavis In 7 Wonders Duel, the only thing that doesn't map very well to the set of functionality is the laying out of cards in a pyramid shape and picking "accessible" cards. I'll have to think about how to support mechanics like that. But scoring should be no problem.

@m_guerville @nicolodavis Hey @m_guerville, the first beta version should be available early next year (if you don't mind trying some rough preview versions, those are already available). Yes, a non coder should be able to implement games like 7 Wonders Duel.
