It’s not a coincidence that a lot of teams who ended up caring are nerds with backgrounds in stuff adjacent to NFTs Animators, Developers, Entrepreneurs This space isn’t new to these people, it’s a layer added on top of the stuff they already know & have known for years. If you see these classes of people launching collections - especially if they have proven track records - smash buy They were built for this new era of internet. For them it’s not about making a quick buck, it’s about continuing forward on their paths, a natural progression from what they were previously doing

@waleswoosh that's exactly why we'll never launch a token or nft at @flipsuitexyz - sure it's way harder to promote your product without such "incentives" in this space but at least you know the community you're building is not just a bunch of farmers and beggars

Without incentives, no one would use or talk about 99% of the protocols and tokens in crypto. That's why most "communities" fall silent on the day a snapshot is announced or an airdrop is completed. It's the endgame. This should come as no surprise to anyone, but it's still crazy when you think about it and see the hipocrisy on the timeline before TGEs
