I just read that Ghana is allowing "Visa-Free" entry for all Africans starting before the end of May. Ummm, this seems like a win but it's not, for one major reason. It's true that while Africans shouldn't be requiring visas to travel within Africa, there should be strict rules put in place to ensure the privilege won't be abused by visitors, not just anyone should be allowed, this is a painful reality we have to deal with right now. African on African crime is on the rise, sadly, so it's important that every country takes precautions to avoid conflicts in the future. We have seen news of fellow Africans going into other countries and making a mess of things, and as a result, limiting the chances of their own people.
