I remember watching ESPN's Dream Job from a motel room somewhere in upstate NY. It was during a three-week stretch when I drove north to Utica, west to Zanesville, south to Durham, then back to Bowie cold dropping off VHS resume tapes to small market newsrooms looking for a job.
