For those wondering…Winston is a doctor, pioneer of IVF, and he has published over 300 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals Winston has called gender-affirming surgery"mutilation" and has said that "we can remove bits of our body and change our shape and so on but you can't change your sex because that is embedded in your genes in every cell of your body".

Trans women are also biological women. The term "biological woman" is made up by anti-science losers who want to other trans women, but it doesn't actually work. If you think being female is strictly about the ability to get pregnant, you will invalidate cis women as well.

Marriage is an earthly foreshadowing/picture of Christ and the Church. It’s a covenant relationship that allows for grace and imperfection, but is dependent on commitment, acceptance, belief, and love. Adultery/idolatry is grounds for it to be deal breaker. Even God says He divorced Israel (Jer 3:8) Likewise, physical abuse in a relationship/abandonment is a deal breaker. It’s the marital equivalent of “faith without works is dead” (James 2:26). If you “asked Jesus into your heart” but don’t ever live like it, are you really saved? If you beat your spouse do you actually love them? Is God “forced” to honor that fake faith? Is a spouse “forced” to honor that fake marriage?

@Vinsaneforjesus @farmingandJesus And I would point to the proceeding part of of verse 15 I quoted regarding bondage. If the spouse is a believer (in our discussion, a husband) he's worse than an infidel, and winning him over isn't an option. A good shepherd regards the life of his sheep.
